I LOVE IT HERE!
Over the past months I have seen the phrase “I hate it here” all across social media countless times. Not knowing if this was a trend or how others truly felt about their lives and the positions they were in, I felt deeply perplexed and heartbroken for them.
On the other hand, I have been on a journey of becoming undone, healing, and evolving into being the highest version of myself. Becoming and being the daughter and woman God desires for me to be.
This journey has not come without disappointments, discomforts, or hard truths and realities to face. In fact, this journey has been everything I needed. The mirror reflections, asking and answering the hard questions my soul needed to know, crying my eyes and heart out, facing God, surrendering fully to God, and coming to the end of myself.
This journey has brought me clarity, confidence, strength, peace, and a spiritual and mental grounding that I direly needed. This journey has brought me to a place of Here and I can say with everything in me that I LOVE IT HERE!
I LOVE IT HERE because Here is where God is. Here is where God has scheduled and intended for me to be. Here is where I am loved. Here is where I am growing. Here is where I am being developed and equipped with everything I will need for there. In this very moment, I do not wish to think too far ahead of myself. Instead, I will remain focused, present, and steady in my pursuit of my being in God, my creator, my Heavenly Father, and the one who blesses and prospers each of us.
My prayer and hope for each of you is that you see the sacredness in Here and that like me, you begin to love it here. Here is where we are and here is where we get to meet God and if we are available, vulnerable, and sensitive enough to His calling and heart for us, we will discover that there is no greater place than HERE. Please do not be one of those people who choose to follow trends and memes but rather choose to be present here and to love where you are even when your heart is in search and desire of getting away from here to there. Here is where you are and I am blessed to be HERE with YOU!
